About your teachers
Gabi + LouLou + Gabi
Gather Directors + Teachers: Lou + Gabi
We are Lou Thomas (they/he) and Gabi Parkham (she/her), accessible yoga teachers and the founders of Gather. It is our great pleasure to share the transformative wisdom of yoga with our community, and it is especially meaningful to invite in people who are so often excluded.
Our approach is playful, trauma-informed, and consent-led. We invite you to meet yourself with compassion and curiosity, rather than trying to get anywhere in particular. Our teaching of yoga is inherently adaptable; we recognise the unique messiness of each individual’s experience, and we will always be much more about autonomy than alignment.
We endeavour to treat this beloved south Asian tradition with the deep respect and honour it deserves. For us, it is incomplete to share yoga without acknowledging and offering the depth of its history, practices, and philosophy. It is through this engaged approach that we experience yoga as transformation.
Zenia + AmritaZenia + Amrita
Teachers: Zenia + Amrita
We are Zenia (she/her) and Amrita (they/she), yoga teachers passionate about creating spaces where women of colour can gather, move and simply be.
Together, we offer classes that are welcoming, accessible and rooted in the understanding that yoga is about far more than physical postures.
Our teaching draws on breath, movement, mindfulness and relaxation to support rest, resilience and connection, while always encouraging you to practice in a way that feels right for your body.
As women of colour, we know how meaningful it is to practice in spaces where you feel seen and understood. We are honoured to share yoga in a way that respects its South Asian roots while creating a community where people can connect with both themselves and one another.
